MALE HMPK GORDON YELLOW (GOKU) BETTA

ABOUT THIS BETTA
This striking Male HMPK Gordon Yellow (Goku) Betta features an unusual and highly contrasting combination of a deep charcoal-black body, warm golden-yellow finnage and bold dark fin edging.
His body is predominantly black to deep charcoal, creating a dramatic foundation for the much lighter coloration of the fins. Subtle warm bronze tones can also be seen toward the rear portion of the body depending on the lighting and viewing angle.
The caudal, dorsal and anal fins display beautiful shades of golden yellow, champagne and creamy ivory. The fin rays carry warmer gold coloration, giving the otherwise pale finnage additional depth and definition.
A distinctive black outer border outlines much of the caudal, dorsal and anal finnage. This dark edging creates a sharp frame around the golden-yellow fins and beautifully ties the finnage back into the dark coloration of the body.
Adding even more character are several isolated electric-blue metallic markings visible along the body and caudal fin. These brilliant blue flashes stand out dramatically against both the black body and warm yellow finnage.
His ventral fins also complement the overall pattern with pale cream-to-golden coloration and darker accents.
The combination of deep black, golden yellow, cream, black edging and electric-blue highlights gives this Goku male a distinctive appearance that is very different from a typical yellow Betta.
You will receive the exact Betta shown in this listing. This is not a stock photograph.

COLOR & DEVELOPMENT NOTICE
Bettas may continue developing in coloration, pattern and finnage as they mature. The intensity of the yellow, dark edging and metallic markings may naturally change over time.
His coloration can also appear noticeably different depending on aquarium lighting and viewing angle. The fins may appear golden yellow, champagne, ivory or cream, while the body may range visually from deep black to charcoal or dark bronze.
The isolated metallic markings may appear electric blue, turquoise or icy blue depending on the direction and intensity of the light.
Bettas may temporarily lose some coloration during shipping due to stress, darkness and travel. This is normal.
After proper acclimation and settling into a clean, warm aquarium, coloration normally begins returning within approximately 48 hours to one week.
