ABOUT THIS BETTA
This extraordinary Male Crowntail Phantom White Ghost Betta features a very unusual combination of an extremely pale pearl-white body, delicate blush-pink undertones and spectacular extended Crowntail finnage.
The body is predominantly pearl white to translucent ivory, with soft pink coloration visible beneath the scales. This extremely light body coloration gives the fish its distinctive Ghost-like appearance.
The finnage is where this male becomes especially impressive. His long, separated Crowntail rays extend dramatically outward, creating the characteristic spiked crown appearance associated with quality Crowntail Bettas.
The fins display a beautiful mixture of pearl white, icy blue, translucent silver and very pale lavender tones. Depending on the lighting and viewing angle, the rays can take on an almost metallic, frosted appearance.
Scattered throughout the caudal and dorsal finnage are contrasting smoky charcoal-to-black markings. These irregular dark patches appear almost suspended within the translucent fins, creating a striking shadow or phantom effect.
Small warm-toned accents may also be visible within portions of the finnage, adding another layer of individuality to his pattern.
The contrast between the nearly white body, translucent Crowntail rays and dark smoky markings gives this fish an unmistakable Phantom White Ghost appearance.

COLOR & DEVELOPMENT NOTICE
Bettas can continue developing in coloration, pattern and finnage as they mature. This is especially important with lightly colored, marbled and metallic fish.
The amount and distribution of the dark Phantom markings may naturally change as the fish develops. Additional pigmentation may appear, disappear or become more pronounced over time.
Because this fish has extremely pale and partially translucent coloration, his appearance can vary considerably depending on aquarium lighting, background color and viewing angle.
The body may appear pearl white, ivory, blush pink or nearly translucent, while the fins may show shades of white, silver, icy blue or pale lavender.
Bettas may temporarily lose some coloration during shipping due to stress, darkness and travel. This is normal.
After proper acclimation and settling into a clean, warm aquarium, coloration normally begins returning within approximately 48 hours to one week.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Live fish are normally shipped Monday and Tuesday to reduce the possibility of packages being held at a carrier facility over the weekend.
During holiday weeks or severe weather conditions, our shipping schedule may be adjusted for the safety of the fish.
HOLD FOR PICKUP
During very hot or cold weather, we recommend requesting HOLD FOR PICKUP at the carrier facility.
This helps prevent the package from spending unnecessary time inside a delivery vehicle or sitting outside your home exposed to extreme temperatures.
ARRIVAL & ACCLIMATION
Please do not be alarmed if your Betta appears different or less colorful immediately after arrival. Shipping can be stressful, and temporary changes in coloration are normal.
Allow your new Betta time to properly acclimate to the temperature and water conditions of its new aquarium.
Bettas are resilient travelers and can safely go several days without food during transportation.
LIVE ARRIVAL / DOA POLICY
We carefully package every fish and stand behind our live-arrival policy. In the unfortunate event that your fish arrives DOA, please contact us immediately after delivery.
Clear photographs of the fish inside the original unopened shipping bag may be required to verify a DOA claim.
Once the claim has been verified, we will work with you according to our live-arrival policy.
If a replacement fish is provided, the buyer may be responsible for the replacement shipping charges.
The live-arrival guarantee cannot cover losses caused by incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, refusal of delivery, packages left outside for extended periods, or other circumstances outside our control.
