ABOUT THIS BETTA
This spectacular Male HMPK Black Pearl Vampire Galaxy Betta features an extraordinary combination of a deep black body, brilliant pearl-like metallic scaling and intense blood-red finnage.
His body displays a rich jet-black to deep charcoal base, providing dramatic contrast for the scattered metallic scales covering the head, back and sides.
These individual scales reflect beautiful silver, pearl-white and champagne metallic tones, creating a striking Galaxy pattern that resembles bright stars scattered across a dark background.
The intense blood-red finnage provides an impressive contrast against the black body. The caudal and anal fins display rich red coloration with darker edging, while the ventral fins carry the same strong red tone.
His dorsal and caudal fins also feature unusual pearl-white to soft lavender metallic patches. Depending on the lighting, these markings can appear white, silver, lavender or slightly blue.
The combination of jet black, pearl silver, blood red and lavender-white metallic highlights gives this male a distinctive appearance and inspired the name Black Pearl Vampire Galaxy.

COLOR & DEVELOPMENT NOTICE
Bettas may continue developing in coloration, pattern, metallic coverage and finnage as they mature.
This is especially important with Galaxy, marble and metallic Bettas. The amount and distribution of the metallic markings and other colors may continue changing as the fish develops.
Metallic and iridescent coloration can appear dramatically different depending on lighting and viewing angle. The pearl markings on this fish may appear silver, white, champagne, lavender or pale blue under different aquarium lighting.
Bettas may temporarily lose some coloration during shipping due to stress, darkness and travel. This is normal.
After proper acclimation and settling into a clean, warm aquarium, coloration normally begins returning within approximately 48 hours to one week.

During periods of extreme heat or cold, we strongly recommend upgrading to a faster shipping service.

In many cases, you can purchase a second Betta for the same shipping cost as one fish.
SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Live fish are normally shipped Monday and Tuesday to reduce the possibility of packages being held at a carrier facility over the weekend.
During holiday weeks or severe weather conditions, our shipping schedule may be adjusted for the safety of the fish.
HOLD FOR PICKUP
During very hot or cold weather, we recommend requesting HOLD FOR PICKUP at the carrier facility.
This helps prevent the package from spending unnecessary time inside a delivery vehicle or sitting outside your home exposed to extreme temperatures.
ARRIVAL & ACCLIMATION
Please do not be alarmed if your Betta appears pale or less colorful immediately after arrival. Shipping can be stressful, and temporary color loss is normal.
Allow your new Betta time to properly acclimate to the temperature and water conditions of its new aquarium.
Bettas are resilient travelers and can safely go several days without food during transportation.
LIVE ARRIVAL / DOA POLICY
We carefully package every fish and stand behind our live-arrival policy. In the unfortunate event that your fish arrives DOA, please contact us immediately after delivery.
Clear photographs of the fish inside the original unopened shipping bag may be required to verify a DOA claim.
Once the claim has been verified, we will work with you according to our live-arrival policy.
If a replacement fish is provided, the buyer may be responsible for the replacement shipping charges.
The live-arrival guarantee cannot cover losses caused by incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, refusal of delivery, packages left outside for extended periods, or other circumstances outside our control.
