ABOUT THIS BETTA
This spectacular Male HMPK Barongsai Galaxy Betta features an extraordinary combination of pearl-white coloration, intense red marbling and beautiful multicolor metallic scaling.
His body displays a predominantly pearl-white to soft lavender base covered with irregular areas of vivid red. The contrasting colors create the highly decorative and unpredictable appearance associated with the Barongsai variety.
Across the body are beautiful reflective scales displaying shades of lavender, pink, icy blue, turquoise and pearl white. These metallic areas create a striking Galaxy effect that can change considerably depending on aquarium lighting and viewing angle.
The head remains predominantly pale pearl-white with subtle pink and lavender coloration, while stronger red and metallic markings become more concentrated through the center and rear portions of the body.
His finnage is equally impressive. The caudal displays a dramatic mixture of red, pearl white, lavender and pale blue, surrounded by a beautiful light-colored outer edge.
The dorsal and anal fins continue the same multicolor theme with pearl, red, lavender and translucent areas, while the ventral fins display strong red coloration contrasted by pale tips.
The combination of pearl white, intense red, lavender, pink, blue and turquoise gives this male a highly distinctive multicolor appearance.

COLOR & DEVELOPMENT NOTICE
Barongsai, Galaxy and marble-pattern Bettas may continue developing and changing in coloration and pattern as they mature.
The distribution and intensity of the red, pearl, lavender, pink and metallic coloration may naturally change over time.
Metallic and iridescent scales can also look dramatically different depending on lighting and viewing angle. His metallic markings may appear lavender, pink, icy blue, turquoise, silver or pearl white under different aquarium lighting.
This natural color development is one of the characteristics that makes multicolor Galaxy and marble Bettas especially interesting.
Bettas may temporarily lose some coloration during shipping due to stress, darkness and travel. This is normal.
After proper acclimation and settling into a clean, warm aquarium, coloration normally begins returning within approximately 48 hours to one week.

In many cases, you can purchase a second Betta for the same shipping cost as one fish.
SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Live fish are normally shipped Monday and Tuesday to reduce the possibility of packages being held at a carrier facility over the weekend.
During holiday weeks or severe weather conditions, our shipping schedule may be adjusted for the safety of the fish.
HOLD FOR PICKUP
During very hot or cold weather, we recommend requesting HOLD FOR PICKUP at the carrier facility.
This helps prevent the package from spending unnecessary time inside a delivery vehicle or sitting outside your home exposed to extreme temperatures.
ARRIVAL & ACCLIMATION
Please do not be alarmed if your Betta appears pale or less colorful immediately after arrival. Shipping can be stressful, and temporary color loss is normal.
Allow your new Betta time to properly acclimate to the temperature and water conditions of its new aquarium.
Bettas are resilient travelers and can safely go several days without food during transportation.
LIVE ARRIVAL / DOA POLICY
We carefully package every fish and stand behind our live-arrival policy. In the unfortunate event that your fish arrives DOA, please contact us immediately after delivery.
Clear photographs of the fish inside the original unopened shipping bag may be required to verify a DOA claim.
Once the claim has been verified, we will work with you according to our live-arrival policy.
If a replacement fish is provided, the buyer may be responsible for the replacement shipping charges.
The live-arrival guarantee cannot cover losses caused by incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, refusal of delivery, packages left outside for extended periods, or other circumstances outside our control.
