ABOUT THIS BETTA
This spectacular Male Halfmoon Red Butterfly Dumbo Ear Betta combines intense red coloration, elegant white Butterfly-pattern finnage and impressive oversized Dumbo Ear pectoral fins.
His body displays a rich scarlet to deep crimson-red coloration with subtle violet and burgundy undertones visible across portions of the scales depending on the lighting and viewing angle.
The long flowing finnage is the centerpiece of this beautiful male. The caudal, dorsal and anal fins display a strong red interior transitioning into broad pearl-white outer margins, creating the classic high-contrast appearance of a Butterfly-pattern Betta.
The caudal fin shows an especially attractive transition from deep red through lighter red and into a bright white outer band. The same red-and-white pattern continues through the dorsal and anal fins, giving the fish a beautifully coordinated appearance.
One of his most impressive features is his Dumbo Ear pectoral finnage. The enlarged pectoral fins are predominantly pearl white with dramatic red feathering near the base, creating a striking fan-like appearance when fully extended.

COLOR & DEVELOPMENT NOTICE
Bettas may continue developing in coloration and finnage as they mature. The intensity and distribution of the red and white coloration may continue to develop naturally over time.
Iridescent coloration can also appear different depending on aquarium lighting and viewing angle. Portions of his body and fins may appear scarlet, crimson, burgundy, violet-red or pearlescent white under different lighting conditions.
Bettas may temporarily lose some coloration during shipping due to stress, darkness and travel. This is normal.
After proper acclimation and settling into a clean, warm aquarium, coloration normally begins returning within approximately 48 hours to one week.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Live fish are normally shipped Monday and Tuesday to reduce the possibility of packages being held at a carrier facility over the weekend.
During holiday weeks or severe weather conditions, our shipping schedule may be adjusted for the safety of the fish.
HOLD FOR PICKUP
During very hot or cold weather, we recommend requesting HOLD FOR PICKUP at the carrier facility.
This helps prevent the package from spending unnecessary time inside a delivery vehicle or sitting outside your home exposed to extreme temperatures.
ARRIVAL & ACCLIMATION
Please do not be alarmed if your Betta appears pale or less colorful immediately after arrival. Shipping can be stressful, and temporary color loss is normal.
Allow your new Betta time to properly acclimate to the temperature and water conditions of its new aquarium.
Bettas are resilient travelers and can safely go several days without food during transportation.
LIVE ARRIVAL / DOA POLICY
We carefully package every fish and stand behind our live-arrival policy. In the unfortunate event that your fish arrives DOA, please contact us immediately after delivery.
Clear photographs of the fish inside the original unopened shipping bag may be required to verify a DOA claim.
Once the claim has been verified, we will work with you according to our live-arrival policy.
If a replacement fish is provided, the buyer may be responsible for the replacement shipping charges.
The live-arrival guarantee cannot cover losses caused by incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, refusal of delivery, packages left outside for extended periods, or other circumstances outside our control.
