🐟 About This Betta

Offered for sale is a beautiful Male HMPK Pineapple Dumbo Ear Betta, featuring the distinctive Pineapple coloration combined with impressive oversized Dumbo Ear pectoral fins.

As an HMPK (Halfmoon Plakat), this male has the attractive compact body and shorter finnage characteristic of the Plakat form, while his large Dumbo Ear pectoral fins give him an especially striking appearance when swimming and displaying.

This is a healthy, active fish that will make a beautiful centerpiece for a properly maintained betta aquarium.

🎨 COLOR & APPEARANCE

Please remember that Bettas may temporarily lose some color during shipping due to stress. This is completely normal. After arriving and settling into a clean, warm aquarium, their coloration normally begins returning as they become comfortable.

Depending on the individual fish, full coloration may take anywhere from 48 hours to approximately one week. Bettas may also continue developing and changing color as they mature.

During periods of extreme heat, cold weather, storms, holidays, or possible carrier delays, we may recommend upgrading your shipping method or delaying shipment for the safety of the fish.

We normally ship live fish on Monday and Tuesday to reduce the possibility of packages being held over the weekend.

🌡️ WEATHER & HEAT PACKS

Please check your local weather conditions before purchasing. During cold weather, we strongly recommend adding a 72-hour UniHeat Heat Pack to your order when necessary.

For extreme temperatures, we may contact you before shipping or recommend holding the package at your local carrier facility for pickup.

🏠 WHEN YOUR BETTA ARRIVES

Please carefully acclimate your new Betta before releasing it into the aquarium. Shipping can be stressful, and your fish may initially appear pale, inactive, or tired.

Give the fish time to rest and adjust. Clean water, stable parameters, and a temperature of approximately 78–80°F will help with recovery after shipping.

Please remember that Bettas can safely travel for several days without being fed. We recommend allowing the fish to settle before offering its first small meal.

❤️ LIVE ARRIVAL / DOA POLICY

We make every effort to ensure your fish arrives safely and healthy. However, shipping live animals always carries some risk.

In the unfortunate event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), please contact us immediately after delivery and provide clear photographs of the fish inside the unopened original shipping bag.

Approved DOA claims are covered according to our live-arrival policy. Replacement fish may be offered when available; shipping charges for replacements are the buyer's responsibility.

Our live-arrival guarantee applies to the condition of the fish upon delivery and does not cover problems occurring after the fish has been introduced into the buyer's aquarium.
